Wanna take a guess?
I need to put this little girl named Macy on petfinder for the shelter but she doesn't have a breed on her card just "mixed breed" She has short legs and is 6 months old. Any guess so I can put her up on petfinder? And I just noticed when looking at these pictures that she has missing toes on one foot.

Wow, I first!
Bassett X APBT....we met a dog last week with this mix, Buddy had the temperament of a APBT with hound tendencies, I guess he locked onto scents. Very strange body type, muscular long body with stubby legs. |

Thanks thats a great guess. I was thinking beagle doxie but she would probably have been bigger if that is what she was. Sometimes it helps them get adopted if they are labled as something besides pit.

I think she looks like a Dachshund (for sure) crossed with Beagle.. maybe Lab? Not really sure.

I think Dachshund mix too. Can't quite picture what the mix is, but she does look very similar to some of Punkygirl's dogs.

Yep, she sure has the Doxie face, coat and coloring and may be mixed with a Beagle. What a cutie she is and it's a shame she is up for grabs. scary. How did this young lady ever end up behind bars? Bless her heart.

I don't know her story other than on Thursday the 18th her owner surrendered her to the shelter. How someone could do that is beyond me! Thanks for all the suggestions. I went ahead and put doxie x beagle.

I for sure say dachshund! She looks like my best friends dog Jessica (Who was a dachshund/Pit mix for SURE)
