Miscellaneous Class/Mutts/Cross Breeds/Other Dogs in the Miscellaneous Class are working toward full AKC recognition. These dogs can compete in some AKC events and earn selected titles.

Franny is really cute! I don't have a Jackapoo, but I have a JRT x Maltese Terrier. He looks really different to Franny, though.

I'm not sure if Mocha is a Jackapoo...but I always thought he had JRT in him....I was told he was a poodle mix (I adopted him secondhand and they don't really know what he's made of or when he was born). I thought he was a JRT/Poodle mix because he seemed to have JRT markings and loves to jump.

Do you think he is a Jackapoo? I've always called him a Terripoo!

Hi all,

Im getting a jackapoo soon ive left a deposit,picking her up on 30th dec , im so pleased you have put pics on here they look fab,infact they are like i hoped mine would be sofingers crossed that mine turns out the same..shes black and curly like her poodle daddy, with a white chest and white toes of her jrt mummy, daddy is only 10in tall and mummy is 7 so im hoping she wont be very big do any of you know of any particular health problems associated with jackapoos?

I must say, those jack/poodle mixes are adorable! And as tempting as they are, Chipmonk, it is probably not a wise idea to get one from a breeder. Most breed these mixed breeds only for money. And to make money, they'll try to save money by not doing h ealth checks on the parents of the dogs. You could end up buying a dog that will cost you three times as much by their fifth birthday in hospital bills! It really is aweful when your baby becomes sick because of your aweful breeder, and I'd hate for you to have to experience that like I had to.

I agree with Tessa.

There is no need to be breeding these designer mutts..They are filling up shelters, and putting a deposit on one..thats supporting a back yard irresponsible breeder.

They are cute..but they are mixed breed dogs being bred for selfish reasons .

Don't agree with the mixing of dogs and especially those who ask stupid prices and give these daft names to them.

Is it me or does Lucky just look like a Shih Tzu?

Cute looking dogs though and I'm not having a go at you as owners.
