I just wanted to update about my puppy since everyone was so nice in trying to help figure out his breed(s). I had my cousin look at him because he use to breed Great Danes for years and I figured if anyone could tell me one way or the other if he was a dane, dane/mix he would. So anyway as soon as he looked at him he started shaking his head and said "You have a yourself a dane there!" He said Rocky is mixed with something but prodominately Dane, the only thing that he see's on him that makes him say that is the top of his head is a touch more rounded then a danes would be. He seems to think it is possible one parent was full dane and the other a dane/mix or a breed very close to a dane. He also thought that my babys temperment and the actions and movements he makes are a sure dane thing. He couldn't get over we got the puppy free from the police officer on his way to a pound!! Someone was a very unresponsible owner or back yard breeder. Thats nothing unusual around here though there are always dogs running around loose. I was so scared for this one pit (not sure if it was full pit) he was running loose and trying to chase cars, he almost got hit several times. I did end up calling our police department because I was so scared he was going to get hit. The police take care of strays and stuff here, anyway he did know the owner and took the dog home instead of the pound but the next day the dog was out running around again.
Well just wanted to let everyone know what I found out and thank everyone again for all the help.
