I hate it when people do that

. They just assume it looks like a Pit Bull (to them) so it must have "bull" in it's name.

the bull she is referring to is a bulldog. Many years ago everyone did call the Boston a bulldog or Boston bull. Back in the 40's my grandmother had a little female named Patsy. They referred to her as a Boston bull. Many of the old timers still do even now, and I experienced young people doing the same. They don't mean to hurt feelings.........they don't know any better.

I just find it funny when people use the wrong name. Whether it be a dog or something else. My mother plays violin and viola. Someone across the street pronounced it "Violinia". rofl

honostly... i think that the seller did know what they were saying b/c in the description it just says "boston terrier"... maybe the seller threw the "bull" into the title so that if you did a search their item would have more oportunities for "hits".
Ya know what I mean?

Like if you type "boxer" into a search engine you'll get stuff about proboxing and boxer shorts
but by putting in "boxer dog" you'll get what you're looking for.

Actually they are called Boston Bull or Boston Terrier just depends who you are talking to.
