Hi Everybody,
I was just wondering about American Bulldogs, Like-
How big do they get? What is their temperment like? And just some basic info about them.

I was wondering if you think my puppy looks like he could have American Bulldog in him, I know his mom was a purebred lab but I'm not sure what his dad was. Here are some pictures of him-

Could be possible. Whatever he is mixed with he is SO adorable. And look'it those PAWS! They're huge! lol

I'm gonna have to disagree with Kaz on the dog aggression part... Being a bully breed they will always be predisposed to dog aggression. It will probably be milder than with a pit bull, but they tend to be dominant and while they generally will not start a fight, they won't hesitate to finish it.

American Bulldogs are loyal, intelligent, stubborn, hilarious, people-oriented, affectionate, sensitive to their master, aloof with strangers, territorial, dominant, oversized lap dogs, and they shed a LOT.

I have to agree with Schwe,they are not for everyone.
I have a friend who breeds AB,she does protection work with hers and also SAR.She has had some very nice dogs,and i've even been able to show a few for her.
