well ill start with the new members to my family i got my self a few new parrots just on about 2 weeks ago two princes and a ring neck love them so much im going to start breeding with the two princces soon i hope when it come s to time will post some pics...

Princess Parrots!!!! I fell in love with them the moment I saw them at the first bird show I went to.

yeah thay are gorgeous the princess i cant wait im starting a breeding program with them hope that it will work them later on im going to start on the grey then go on to the yellow ones...

as soon as i have babys i will be posting but most like wont be for a few months as breeding for these type of birds are not intill a another few months....

The Princess Parrots are the ones with grey heads and pink chins. The little ones with the white eye rims are Love Birds and the big solid green one is an Indian Ringneck.

The first time I ever saw a pair of these birds they were in this big pink cage. LOL They looked stunning in their colour co-ordinated home.

No problem. Yup there are lots of different variations in Lovebirds and something like 8 or 9 different species too. In Australia I think we're use to seeing "Peach Faced Lovebirds". The ones in the photos above are "Masked Lovebirds" (although if I'm wrong there someone please correct me ).

you are right cass that are masked lovebirds and there is alsorts of them as well theres about 8 diffretn names for them as well thay are also part of my mums breeding she starting to breed them we are trying to fin all the diffrent type of them....were about in Australia are you cass?

I'm on the Central Coast of NSW, just about 20mins south of Swansea, close to Wyong & Tuggerah at a place called "Summerland Point".

mad as thats like 2hrs drive from were i live i think....i think i may have been there before i go for drives up the central coast a few times should meet up one day...would be cool....me and my bf go to BBQs all the time up at the coast and i can drive out that way one day...

That would be great. I know this sounds like a long way off...but the Spring Fair dog show is on in Sydney in November and I plan to go (as a spectator). We could meet up there. It's on the weekend, starts Friday evening (they have friday and saturday evening shows) and there are the specialties on Sunday. Should be a lot of fun, with lots of dogs. I'd love to go with someone who actually liked dogs. LOL

Actually, Swiftwind...if you read this...I'd love to meet you too maybe we could all go together? Three dog obsessed women at a dog show. Perhaps for the Sunday specialties? Sounds perfect. LOL

sounds great to me i have sunday of work as well...would be great to meet a few people that are also into dogs....if we could also get Swiftwind as well that will also be great even if we send her a private message....iam always up for drives no matter what i do...
