15 baby ducks.

Guess what! I'm about to get 15 baby ducks for 40$. They are Rouens. And they will be here October 4th! I'm so excited! I have ordered baby ducks beofre and it was so much fun taking care of them. My step dad is taking care of the cages I'm going to need and we are going to go to Wal mart and buy them a little kiddie pool until they get big enough to go out in the lake.

That's neat. When I was a kid, we had a small farm in northern Wyoming. Had a variety of animals. Had a bunch of mallard ducks that had their own little pond. The hens would go out in the horse pasture and lay their eggs in a nest under some sagebrush.. every once in awhile, we'd look out and see the hen waddling back, with her new bunch of ducklings following her. We sold many ducklings every year.

I love Baby ducks too! When I lived in California, my husband and I were driving home and we saw a baby duckling walking down the road by itself. We walked all around looking for its mama but we couldn't find her. We took the baby duck home and raised it until it grew up. I have pictures of my black and tan coonhound sleeping with the baby duck between her paws like she is protecting it. The baby duck followed her around all over the place.

I'm jealous! I would love to have 15 baby ducks waddeling around!
