Talking miniature foal

Blazer is 2 weeks old now. He is already very quiet, will come and lay his head down on your lap like a dog.
He was born while I was away and my 3 year old grandaughter rang me all excited to tell me her baby was finally here.
This little mini will do her till she is about 12 years old but then he will stay a pet ( naturally )
Isnt he the cutest little thing, his teeth have just come through, I just love baby animals
You should see him running in the paddock makes my heart swell with love to see him so happy

AWW He's absolutely gorgeous!
I saw a shetland foal who was about the size of him. I had never seen a horse so small in my life!

Blazer is precious! It's a good thing you mentioned he is your granddaughter's as the wheels in my head were already spinning trying to devise just how I was going to smuggle him out of Australia to my home!

OMG!!! That is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! He is precious!!!

Leon- I am not too sure, but I think they can get anywhere from like 20-26" to a pony size. (I think that is right! )

So cute, Linnie! We have a miniature horse breeder around here too. I've never been a fan of horses, but I love seeing these tiny guys as I go past on the bus. Just adorable!

Cass.

I actually saw a show on TV once where one of these minis had been trained to be a seeing eye horse. It was amazing watching him work. It was very funny though to see him accompanying his person into a restaurant. The looks on the faces of the other customers was hilarious until they realized that he was actually working and doing an excellent job!
