Our recent Foster Child
My parents found this one in their backyard. Rusty wanted to eat it.
No parents or nest around. My Mom looked for a few hours. She asked if my daughter Kia wanted to foster it for a while. It couldn't fly. She has been a great foster Mamma. It will be released sometime next week.  We call it baby or Crash. |

What kind of bird is it? The shape of the head reminds me of a jay. It looks like Kia is doing a great job as a foster mom.

Your right. It is a Blue Jay. He just took a dip in his water dish.
 It really neat to watch him play. |

The baby went off to his new home last Friday. Behind my boss' house where there is tons of food & no cats. He flew right to the top
of her barn. He will be very safe there. |
