Look what we found in the shed today!!!!

We were working a little outside today and I was clenaing the garage, as my hubbies uncle brought some things to the shed and called me...
i went down there and he said :"since when have you kittens, thought you don't have cats " and pointed to three little buggers sitten in the corner and in a cardboardbox tiped to the side...
I said, "well I guess i have kittens...."
we sat there for a while and slowly but surely there were more popping up, and we counted seven if we didn't mistake one for one and the same, because they never were out alltogether, then we brought a plate out with milk and bread soaked in it, and the final count was nine!!!!
poor moma cats, she has a handull work there... must be a darn good hunter!!!!
Aren't they cute????
will bring them food now and then, may share some meat from the dogs with them, we could use mousehunters here...
they just need to get smart enough to stay away from the dogs....

Wow, they are georgous. What a variety of pretty colors!!!!

I always like fun surprises like that. Hopefully you will be able to get them tame enough to catch so you can rehome all the females or else get them fixed. Nine cats sure could make alot of babies!!!

^ I agree.

They are very pretty colors though. It looks like you have a diluted tortie, I love diluted colors!

They are truly cute and what wonderful markings. I'm surprised they are that tame sine they haven't had human contact.

well no touching, allowed, yet and we have to stay away atleast two to three meters, but when we are not moving too much, and move not sudden they play and eat. i estemated they are about 4 weeks old, so thinks our uncle. they are fit, but not too fit, yet and sometimes walking is not easy, though they can climb a little allready...

Wow, they're cute! I hope you can still get them socialized. They'd be trouble without that. LOL. What's that scary looking hook hanging over them?

Well, good luck with the little cuties. I bet you were really surprised.

WOW! 10 babies! How precious!

I hope that you can tame them too. And atleast have them fixed so they don't reproduce. That's certainly a lot of babies!

They are SOOO cute! Atleast you are an animal lover and will watch out for them. Many people don't like cats, especially feral ones and they don't do very nice things to them

Keep us posted on them and let us know if they warm up to you at all.

I hope, that they may warm up, but fixing ten kittens thats a chunk, I though about rehoming but uhm cats like dogs (most of them here) are free to do what they like....
Well when they stick arround and they don't run off and get halfways tame, i may be able to do one by one, whenever i have the money...
so yeah i hope they stay, their mom seems very shy, hope i can hang out with the kittens withou her getting weary and take them to a different spot. i hope leaving food and meat out might convince them to stay, the dogs are rarly out so they don't bother, we usually just go to the truck and take off for a walk elsewere...

If you could find a local rescue or shelter that does low cost spay/neuter that would probably help a lot. I have a place near me that will spay/neuter cats as long as they are a certain weight, and you get microchip, worming and rabies all for $55.

10 kittens! Wow! Just thought I'd share some advice.. I'm not sure what kind of milk you're using but if it's cows milk then that's not too good for a kitten's stomach. Bread isn't good either as it's hard for them to digest and can make them bloated.

You sure have a handfull with 10 kittens & a mummy cat! They're all so sweet though!
