Post Found Kitten!

On November 3, 2004, I found this gray little kitten coming from out under my shed in my yard and just started coming near me and started following me, which was kind of akward. Feral or stray cats don't just walk up to you or come when you call to them, this kitten did! This kitten purrs alot, very friendly and very sweet kitten. I had put some notices, "Found Lost Kitten" in some peoples mailboxes and haven't gotten any calls yet. Someone I know had said they were looking for a cat and I told her about it and she may be able to take the kitten. Or I will be keeping the kitten. Either way is good! If I end up keeping the kitten, I am going to take it to the vet and get it treated for anything and then, I will have 3 cats, I have 2 cats that are officially mine.

I think that is illegal, though it is OK to put fliers etc. in door handles, doorways, etc..

sounds like a dump off for the kitten to be that tame she was some one pet that they decide'd they didn't want any more. I lived in the country and we had lots of animals dumped off esp. cats people think if they find a nice farm out in the country if they turn cat/kitten loose it'll live there hunt mice n be happy. We had 11 cats dumped there and 3 dogs. I was unable to keep these and most I took up to our local animal shelter. I hate'd doing that felt so bad knowing more then not they'd be put to sleep. We had a springer spaniel(sp) droped off one time such a nice dog kept him around for a week looking for owner finally had to also take him in also. I figure its better to be put to sleep then run around hungry cold n scared. So many people see their pets as throw aways if it doesn't work out just get another one which makes me so sad so many un wanted animals out there. Glad this little kitty found you!! And that your able to keep n care for it

It is illegal to touch anyone’s mailbox, unless you are the mail carrier or have permission.. I would not put anything else in a mailbox. Anyway... Congrats on finding the kitten.. She sounds adorable!
