Introducing the Minis!!!

At the stable where I'm the co-trainer of, we have 8 miniature horses and I'd like to introduce you to them as they are most deffinately one of the highlights of the place as they are so full of character!

To begin this is Jenny, she is the mother to 5 of the minis and deffinately the most docile although they're all very good.

Father to the 5 minis Jenny is the mother of, is Houston whom is deffinately my fav out of all the minis. He is so affectionate and quiet even though he's a stallion!

Houston enjoys taking people for rides down the street though now as he is getting a lil older his asthma is affecting him a bit more

Here's Dusty, he likes to beat up on his dad (Houston) LOL

Katie giving the camp kids a good work out

Buttons (paint) and Patches (white). Patches used to be brown and white but the brown just kinda disappeared as she grew up LOL

Katie (full grown brown and white) Holly (white) and Buttons when he was lil

Finally we have Spirit, this is when we rescued him from a Mini Mill (like a puppy mill bur for mini horses). I don't have an updated pic of him but he is healthy and as active as the others. He especially loves to go for walks with me into town!

Aww, their just adorable and I've already decide you need to just box Buttons up and send him to Indiana!

Thanks Sonja! Haha I dunno if you'd want Buttons...cute as he is he's got a nasty lil habbit of sneaking up behind ye, nipping your butt, then taking off across the field! LOL He's so funny!

Beautiful pics. That last one is sad. Great to hear that he's just fine. I've been wanting a mini but haven't been able to get one yet. Perhaps in the future.

Great pictures! My neighbor has two black minis and I love them to pieces! When we get our little ranch in Montana someday I want a pair of minis to spoil. They should fit right in with all the wiener dogs we will supposedly have. I want a few pygmy goats too. They crack me up! I also want llamas and mini donkeys too...LOL...I'll call my mini ranch Barrett's arc.

This is Clarke and Pumpkin

And all 3, Clarke, Pumpkin, and Sweet Pea (and little Spice, a 30year old Pony)

Unfortunatly we don't have them anymore, the person who owned them got her own stable and moved them up north with her.

Yup! I love the mini donkeys! They are so cute! I would let them pull me in a little cart to go get the mail every morning. They could pull the mini dachshunds around in a sleigh in the winter time. LOL I love the minis!
