Unhappy Our Dog & my Dad pass away a day apart

Last November was really tuff on my family. Our family dog we have had for 14 years was getting weak and couldn't walk. The vet said it was just old age. So we were all very sad. My Dad was very upset to see our dog Grimmy so sick. My Dad had the vet come out to help Grimmy. My Dad didn't want me to be home when the vet came. My brother help take care of Grimmy when the vet arrived. They had my Uncle dig a spot in the back yard under Grimmies favorite apple tree. My Dad was so upset he told my Uncle to dig one for him next to Grimmy. Little did we know my Dad would die the next day on the way to breakfast. My Dad had a heart attack just as he pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant. My Mom was also with him at the time. When the ambulance came to work on my Dad. They made my Mom back up. She then had a heart attack. She was rushed to the hospital. She then found out she needed emergency surgery. She was rushed to the U.S.A. for bypass surgery ( we live in Windsor Ontario Canada). She was unable to go to my Dad's fueneral. It was very sad. My parents had been together for 50 years. It might sound crazy but I think Grimmy might have been giving us a sign about my Dad & Mom. I was wondering if anyone had a similar thing happen? I found a great plave to remember Grimmy it's called dogstar. You can place a picture and a write up about your pet. My bf did several years ago for his dog and we can still go to dogstar to look at his dogstar. Really cool site. I know my Dad & Grimmy must be together. May sound strange but I put a tennis ball with my Dad for Grimmy. It's still really tuff on me. But life will go on. Until we all meet again.

I'm so very sorry. It does almost sound like Grimmy was trying to say something doesn't it. It sounds like your dad and Grimmy were bonded souls and there is no doubt in my mind that tennis ball is getting full use.

Reading your post gave me shivers!
I am deeply sorry to hear what has happened. It must be very difficult for you and your family.

A kind-of similar thing happened to me a few years ago. I had my first pet mouse not too long, and one morning I woke up and checked on him (like I did every morning) and I found him dead in his cage, which was really shocking for me at the time. Anyway, I had woken up to an empty house which I thought was strange, and my mum had rang me just after I checked my mouse, and told me that my sister had been taken to hospital for pneumonia and apparently if she didn't go to hospital that day she would have most probably died. To me, I think it's such a strange coinsidence that my mouse die the same day my sister is taken to hospital.
