Puppy Peeing Everywhere

Hi,
I have a 2 month old yorkie/shih-tzu puppy. She is a great dog, and the vet gave her a clean bill of health when she got her first shots a couple of days ago. I have one big problem though her peeing. I live in an appartment so I am paper training her as I live on the 10th floor and the elevator is slow at times. She has masterd pooping on the paper but not peeing. I have been thinking about using a litterbox but with paper not litter. I would love any tips to get her to pee on the paper and if anyone has any experience with litterbox training that would be great too. Thanx

Barrett is the only one I can think of here that's litter trained a puppy. She would be a good source of information for you.

My Yorkie uses a pad. But she likes to have a fresh one. Dogs don't understand that to us pooping and peeing are the same thing...elimination. You just have to be patient and keep putting the puppy on the pad when it's time for her to go. Ignore the accidents unless you can catch her in the act. Then you can try and interrupt it and place her on the pad. There's a short housetraining article in the Article section. Barrett is the litter training guru.
