Puppy spots or birthmarks
I noticied today that my shitzhu pup has like brown spots, a couple small ones and a couple large ones on his tummy on his genatilia. It this normal? I know it seems obvious that dogs have spots, but I worry about every little thing when it comes to my little guy.. Its
.I will ask my vet next time I see him but can you guys give me some feedback? Thanks everyone, |

I think it's just normal puppy skin. A lot of dogs have blotches on their skin.
I'd be concerned if the spots were raised, scabby, sore to the touch, or just not normal with the rest of his skin. |

Yup, just sound like normal colouration on his skin.
Nothing to worry about. And by the way, don't feel embarrassed about being overly worried, it's better to be too concerned than not concerned at all. ![]() Cass. |

Yup, those spots sound absolutely normal!
Harley has spots all over his skin, and if you look very carefully you can see that where he has the spots his fur is brown. |
