Smile Niki Is Here!!!!!!!!!

I call her my miracle dog.
Besides the big scare she gave me.....
She is sooo funny, and she made us laughed sooo hard! I have long hair,
and she jumped on me twice grabbing the ends of my hair really hard with her
teeth, and she really did not want to let go! She was not hurting me,
but she liked to grabbed them. She thought it was the funniest thing to try
to catch my hair.

She looves to play and she makes everything a game; on
the other hand she has such a personality that she can be serious when she wants to. A couple times came and sat in front of me looking at me straight in the face and not moving! It was amazing; it seems like she was wondering:
"Who are you?" Then, she started following me around!! I thought it was too fast for that, but she does! In fact she does better without a leash. When I put her leash on to take her to the yard, she thinks the leash is a toy or something because at first, she held in her mouth the part that was hanging from her neck, she sat down, and she tried to chew it

Without a leash, she started following me around the house, and a couple times she sat in front of the wired crate I have for her and she was waiting for me to come back from the kitchen (well, not always works soo well; she made me chase her around the living room once as she was hiding behind the table changing position everytime I was close; And she peed at my friend's bedroom, but he loves her, so it was no problem) By the end of the day, it seems that she started realizing that when she has her leash on, I want her to walk with me, so she still grabs the part of her leash that is hanging and walks like that with me -- she is so funny and so very smart!
Twice I had to wait for her as she was trying to grab that part of her
leash; as soon as she had it on her mouth, she followed me no problem --
What an interesting puppy! I gave her treats. I had one treat on my hand taken out of the bag. She smelled it, did not touch it, went for the whole bag instead of just that one; she put her whole head inside the bag and tried to eat them all at once -- sooo smart and funny!! She is better than I had imagined her.
LOVE HER!!!
She has not cried at all the whole night!!
She sleeps on or near my shoes and when she wakes up, she sits and looks at me straight in the face -- it is funny. She waits there looking at me until I go and play with her or pet her. She wanted to play too much, so I put her on the wired crate and as soon as she started to barely whine, I told her "Niki go to sleep." That is it. Niki sleeps in her crate at this moment with some of her toys next to her. She has a favorite toy (the toy I got
with me for her when I went to pick her up). It is a small soft giraffe and has a bell in it. SHE LOVES IT!

Really, Niki is an extraordinary puppy and I think she bonds with me
pretty fast!
