Adding a new puppy!!!

Well I think I know my fiancee alittle too well at this point. He has been dropping hints for about 2 months now about a new puppy. Which at first I thought was completly insane. Especially with Twix being 6 months old and Pepper just hitting a year. I am very busy with training and working in our store. But we have raised puppies in this situation before and it has worked out.

So this morning Tom (fiancee) sat down at the breakfast table and let out a little sigh . So I bit and asked what was up. So he goes into this pitty story about how he was raised around Deerhounds and Wolfhounds. And how he especially always wanted a Scottish Deerhound of his own. And FOUR of our dogs are my childhood breed. And then he gets down to it he knows a local REPUTABLE breeder with puppies ready to go by Christmas.

So I bit and rolled my eyes and asked how much. And honestly it wasent too bad. So I asked him honestly how long he had been talking to the breeder. Of course its been two months and he did his research on the breeder. So I caved and with a sigh of my own said I figured ONE more couldn't hurt. And after this puppy no more additions until Captain (Our oldest) passes away. Which won't be for years. So he agreed and is excited as a little kid learning he is getting a new puppy.

This weekend we plan to drive down and see the puppies and the sire and dam. We will then pick out our puppy and pay a deposit if we like what we see. So wish us luck lol.
