It's not gonna happen
No puppy.. He was there with his owners but they want lots of money for him. He hasn't been resgistered yet and she wants more than I paid for Brandi for him and she's a Grandgables pup. I told her what my limit was and she said to me that her husband probably wouldn't sell him for that amount. So I'm sure I won't be getting a puppy from them. It seems that they want lots of money just because I fell in love with him. Their excuse for so much money was because they had to bottle feed him from two weeks of age because his mom didn't want to feed him, it was her first whelping. Well that's great that they did care for him but I'm not going to allow them to tack on extra money just to recoup their expenses for the goats milk they fed him or the inconvenience of getting up every two hours to feed him. I think it's a bust to be sure... They want top money for a medium quality dog. I'm a little disappointed but I'll find the right one when the time is right.

All night feedings and the extra "expenses" of such are part of breeding. If you can't stand the heat - stay out of the kitchen.

I feel sorry for the pup but glad that you thought with your head and not your heart.

I'm so sorry it didn't work out. I second what Lilac said--kudos for following your head and not your heart, as hard as it had to of been. Everything for a reason!! Greedy people don't have a tendency to turn out ideal pups anyway, I think.
