Sometimes this can be caused by dry skin but if this is the first time you've seen it then my guess is that some of the soap didn't get rinsed out and is now flaking out after drying.

Feed her more fatty foods (with more oil/butter)
Hi ChicKstA,
My now 8month old had perpetually dry skin for over a month (even after we started feeding her more olive/canola oil) in her food. But slowly the condition wore off. Also try diluting her shampoo - (diluting also works for humans :-)) and you should see improvement. I used to make her scrambled eggs with a clove of garlic sauted in olive oil. She got used to it, and apparently garlic prevents fleas, ticks and even fights worms -which a lot of puppies are affected by. Hope this helps! P&D's mum |
