Dog parks

I just started taking my puppy to a dog park in the city where I live. I just wanted to make sure that this was a good idea, he seems to have fun when he is there and finds several puppie friends to play with.

I just want to make sure that this is safe?

Also I have noticed that sometimes when he is sleeping he breathes really hard should I be concerned?

Thank You

How old is your puppy? Is he up-to-date on all of his vaccinations?

As long as your pup is up to date on all of his shots he will be fine.

I have taken Bella to our local dog park every weekend since she ws fully vaccinated! She loves it and it is good for socialization. Just stay close to your dog so you are always in control. Dog fights can start in an instant and it is better to be right there with your dog so you can stop them immediatley.

He might just be having a really intense dream Chasing imaginary rabbits really takes the wind out of you

Thank you everybody for your replies, my puppie is up to date on all his vaccinations. We just finished on Friday which is when I decided to take him to a dog park.

Fun! Some parks around here have "Small and Timid Dog" sections, you might look around for something like that if you're worried.
