Okay guys,
Drum roll please............................................ ...............................

Joby has Bordetella!!!
After:
-coming home with a cough, and coming home on Clavamox
-THEN going on Naxcel injections for 14 days
-being diagnosed with full blown pneumonia and on the verge of death
in addition to having to manage with his broken leg....

.....We finally know what he has. Our vet, who has also been very helpful and patient with us, is putting hi on doxycycline.

Thanks to all who have helped both my mom and I with this problem

Now we have to deal with a new battle...approaching the breeder!

And now we finally know! I'm soooo happy that the culture came back with an answer and now he can finally be treated!! **hugs to Joby and to you for your determination!**

Hey, I am just happy to have actually have found something. The thing is he really only had one or two doses of Clavamox and then broke his leg----and the med or the consistancy of giving it got lost in
the shuffle----three different vets and the repair of the leg--who knew all along the cough was brewing a big,big storm! thanks again,
and will keep you posted.
