No, do not give her those bones. Once they have been exposed to high heat, like boiling, they are brittle, and can splinter, lodging in the esophagus, stomach, intestine, etc. If you have raw bones, ones that have not been cooked, you can give her those to gnaw on.

Yes I always heard that pork bones were a no no. Not 100% sure why, I think it was something about them splintering even when raw. Don't quote me on that though.
Go for a nice meaty beef or lamb bone...knuckles are fab too. Keeps them busy for ages. Raw chicken wings and necks are ok too. Never cooked bones though. Cass. |

My family doesn't eat pork, it's a jewish thing... so I've never paid any attention to pork. If as someone said, you shouldn't even feed them raw, I'd take their word for it. We eat chicken and duck bones for the most part here with beef and venison for good measure.

cooked bones also can cause blockages in the bowel so they are a definate NO NO.
I personally dont give my dogs pork bones because I had one dog that had a terrible allergic reaction so it scared me enough not to have pork in the house |

I don't know anything about diseases on animal bones ( the whole 'Mad Cow' thing makes me hesitant though) But from my experience with my golden, she chewed on a dead Mole and was fine... (although I wasn't, ugh, haha). Anyway, dogs have different bacteria in their systems, so they can handle food that a human couldn't (and vice versa).

pork bone can be fed, in the RAW form. while i am jewish, pork is a great meat for the dogs to eat and a personal favorite of myas. she eats it 4-5 times a week on average (had pork tails this AM!)
but all bones should be RAW. |

Bah I don't feed my puppy bones anymore because the last time my mom bought a bone for her, Chazzy was like gnawing on it neverendlessly and my mom wanted to use the bone to train her for like 5 minutes, but chazzy ended up biting my mom!! It was bleeding a lot.
