Losing the baby teeth

Okay, I searched the forum and I know that Lucy losing her teeth at 5 months is normal. She doesn't seem bothered by it, but I might freeze a towel just in case... I have noticed that she doesn't really want to chew on hard toys and is sticking to her stuffed toys - does this mean her gums are sore?

Also, what prompted me to post, is that I noticed a few things that concern me a little...

1) Her gums are a little red and I noticed some blood while playing tug with her (I stopped because I was concerned). Is this normal?

2) I found one of her molar teeth on the ground...freaked me out a little, this was a baby tooth right?! I'm thinking it had to be because humans lose those teeth, so puppies should too, right?

Thanks in advance. She doesn't seem to bothered by it, so I'm not too worried, just want to make sure it's okay that I found a molar and some blood.

Yep, her gums are a bit sore and on your other two questions...all totally normal.

Mocha has been losing his baby teeth too. I was playing with him yesterday and suddenly he started to chew on something or move his mouth around without anything in it. I saw his mola dangling...I tried to help him, but couldn't get it out. It finally fell out later. He didn't seem bothered by it (pain-wise). He had some bleeding gums today too, but he was still chewing on his chew toys.

I hope Lucy feels better soon!
