Puppy with lazy eye?

I've always wondered this about Mocha....is his left eye (right as you're looking at his pix) a little off? I always thought it was drifting more to the left than it should be because I always seem to see the whites of his eye more even when he is looking right at you. Is this a condition of some sort?

Here are some examples:

Here's the most obvious....but he still is cute especially with this tongue sticking out. I guess I'm just wondering if this is something to discuss with the vet about. The vet never noticed it, but I have.

I don't know if it's lazy or just the way things are. One of Winston's eyes is like that, and his mom has it a little, too. We just call it his "wonk-eye".

PS - I love the bath picture!

Lucy's does it too. Never thought much of it. Come to think of it Duncan's was a little off as well.

Does his pupil wander off? Or is it the iris just off center? My son had a lazy eye, not too bad... when he was a baby. The doctor said that in many cases, as the child grows, the muscles adjust and it self corrects. If not, after a certain time, he'd have to wear a patch on the good eye and if that didn't work, surgery. But my son's eye did straighten out on it's own within months I think it was. I wonder if it's the same with the dog. You should ask the vet and see what he says. That's interesting. If you try to correct it when they're still very young, it can make it worse later when it naturally corrects....like over compensating. Maybe your vet will have you move a treat back and forth in front of him to work it. But I really don't know. I'd be interested in what your vet thinks.

Those are adorable pictures btw...love the tongue sticking out. Too cute.

It gives you a pretty clear idea what he thinks about baths!
