Inspired by Jami... Winston's pen-free night!

Thanks to Jami, I decided to go ahead and give Winston another try at being in the bedroom pen-free (the first time was awful, he wandered the room and tried to play with everything for about four hours).

He did great! He has his crate, his round bed, and his blanket, and between the three, he slept the whole night, just like always. When I got up a couple of minutes after my alarm went off, he was sitting up in his bed, looking at me.

This is so good... it not only saves us having to move the pen around all the time, it lets us use it in another area of the house to give him a little more freedom somewhere else.

Yay! (Here's hoping he keeps it up.)

We had another great night! Although when my husband moved Winston's footstool away from the bed, he didn't move it far enough, apparently, because at 1:45 I woke up to find a little visitor trying to get snuggly with me.

(Thanks, Jami!)

So glad to hear he's doing well out! Isn't it a great feeling knowing they are growing up and getting some extra freedoms?! Lucy has been sleeping out of her crate for three or four days now, she's doing wonderful, sleeping through the night now too! Go puppies! Oh, and I don't know about you Kade, but I think sleeping out of the crate is the key to sleeping in! She easily sleeps almost as long as I would like to! Almost to 8am the other morning, which is very unusal!
