This might seem like a strange question...

So I mentioned in another thread that Sammi just got spayed.
We got her sutures removed on Saturday and the vet said
that everything is fine and looking good. So I was rubbing her
belly today and felt the oddest thing! It feels like something that's
in a spiral. What in the world could this be? I am wondering if I'm going
crazy or not, it feels like they put something in her... something
that feels like a spiral/braided, etc. It's not soft either...

The vet is closed right now so I'll be calling tomorrow morning...
but has anyone else noticed this in their puppies? And if not can
anyone who got their puppy spayed check for me so I know I'm
not going crazy?

Sorry to ask for this favor, but I'd greatly appreciate it!

That is the internal sutures you are feeling. They disintegrate over some time. Not to worry.

Yup, I felt that on Lucy too. It took a while for it to go away completely. It was just under the skin.
