I hope this is ok to post and not a conflict of interest I still like posting and being a member here as well.
I recently became a member of a forum called freeaholics where you get paid to post (5 cents per post, you can post as often and as much as you like) and they have a section where you can start a poll to get a new topic forum open. I'm trying to get a pet forum so that people can come and talk about their pets, ask questions etc just like here but get paid for it. I know it's not a huge amount of money but it adds up over time which is nice. If you’re interested you can go to their site and become a member (which is free) and vote "yes" in the request forum section under the pet forum poll. All I need is 10 people to vote yes and it will become a new forum topic. I just became a member there 10 days ago and I've made 7.00 so far-you get paid by check or through pay pal. There is several different forum topics like music, general chat, fitness, moms, and hopefully soon to be pets. They also pay for referrals as well as posts- The website is http://www.forum.freeaholics.com/ check it out if you’re interested. ![]() |

Where do they pay into? Your bank account? If so I'd be extremely worried by this.

They pay for you to post from the money they get from advertising on the site-the more people they have posting the more traffic for the advertising-you can pick to either be sent a check in the mail or be paid by paypal. I plan to ask for a check in the mail since I'm not the biggest fan of paypal.

I'm very weary of things like this. I don't really trust them. You don't have to give SSN or any personal information do you ? (besides name and address). Just seems like a "To good to be true, so it probably is" thing. Just MO as always.

lol thought that too but it's free to join and so far no personal information needed (not that I would give it out) and there are moderators and the owner, Vik, posts quite a bit talking to people with questions or issues.
There is also a proof / testimonal topic where you can post how much money you have recieved and when you recieved it-so far people say they are getting paid (it may take a little time). There are some rules like no duplicate posts, you have to wait till you have 5.00 to cash out everytime and you can only cash out on Thursdays. If you have any issues there are people there online all the time to answer your questions etc. You don't have to give out any personal info past your name and address to become a member and from there you can check it out hopefully get all your questions asked. I posted this more because I'm interested in getting a pet forum there than advertising the site. |
