Smile Puppies For Sale!!!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any puppies for sale that they would allow me to put on my new classified animal ads website.. So far I only have 2 ads on there.. If you are selling your puppies and would like me to put them on my website, email me at: PuppyDawgLuvR@aol.com and just write what you want your ad to say!!! You can also view the website:Click Here... The two ads on there are for boxers and german shepherds!!! You can also attach pictures to attract more customers!

What qualifications do you ask for from the people who place thses ads? How long have they been breeders? How many litters does their bitch have, is she over bred? Do they have a VET's number so you can verify their information? Any sort of refrences?
Sorry I'm just curious here.

So in other words, you could become an outlet for puppy brokers and mills to advertise and promote a disgusting practice. You may have a good idea, but I think it would be better if you asked some questions and had strict criteria as to who can sell puppies on your website. I'd rethink what you're doing.

Christina,

I too think you have a wonderful idea but without having some sort of criteria your site becomes an outlet for every miller and backyard breeder out there with a keyboard. Any chance of you changing your mind on this and coming up with some sort of standard that has to be met before an ad can be placed?

I was too nice last time, It is disgusting. You should really change how you do it, or quit it. I like the one add for GSD's the first one, check on the web site.
**Note: If your female GSD is coming into season, and you would like her to have puppies by Kimmelot's Rhythm Flyer, please simply click on the "Stud Serve" tag, print it, fill it out, and mail it to us with a $500.00 money order.

So I checked the "stud serv" tag. Nice, not too many questions, it appears they don't really care who their dogs breed, just send the 500 bucks.

I also like the "oversized" shepherds. Gentle giants, gentle yet protective. advertising that a 100+lbs shepherd is something wanted???? I'll take my 65 lb female to protect me over any 100+lbs dog that comes from there. Every line in the book is used to sell them, except the fact that GSD's were developed to WORK. I don't see too many titles on their dogs. They actually advertise these as the "old world" shepherds and the original shepherds. My God Max would puke if he saw this.

I would seriously reconsider what you're doing and if these people are having trouble selling puppies, let them have troubles, they don't need any more exposure.

Yes, OMG....I'm sorry but if I were looking for a stud for my dog I want to see papers, I want to talk to your vet, I want papers going back generations. I want to talk with some people who have studded with you before I want to talk with people who have purchased puppies. I want all this info, you cannot better any breed just by letting it mate w/who ever pops up and has 500.00, what if the dog is a mix and you honestly couldn't tell? What if it has genetic diseases?
Geeeeez, please set up some requirments before you seriously end up helping puppy mills, I'm serious it will happen over night.

Ok, I wasn't going to look but after seeing the last two posts I took a look around the site. I hate to sound nasty but NO reputable breeder advertises in the way these folks are.

Quote:
And we offer a ( 6 ) month health guarantee stating your pup will arrive Healthy and free of any GENETIC DEFECTS. All pup come vet checked with first shot and dewormed. You have 72 hrs to take your pup to a vet of your choice or the guarantee is void !!!!!!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A 6 month guarantee that the pup will ARRIVE healthy and free of genetic defects. Ok, so what happens after arrival? Hmm, that must not be covered aye? 72 hours and then poof no more guarantee, as if any genetic problem will magically appear within 72 hours but not after? I could go on and on but won't.

Looks like your site is well on its way to adding to the problem rather than the solution.

OK, here comes Vonissk with her 2 cents worth. LOL!! After I read all the posts I went back and really looked at that site good--it has a few more since I was originally there. That GSD pup looks sick--like it's not built right or something. One of their breeding femals will be 3 soon and the other 2 are barely 2 and no OFA or mention of XRay or anything. Forthe oversized ones, well, that white one with a trace of a saddle, maybe something is wrong with ME.,BUT..........You're right GSD, Max would absolutely puke if he could see those dogs. He's probably turning over in his grave as we speak. I told someone in a private message about this and I don't like it and who's making a buck off of it? Christina what are you getting out of this? 1500 for that sick looking pup. You know, one can import a Kirschental dog for that price. The people that have those GSDs also have the Chihuahuas and I always wonder about people who have more than one breed. If you are doing one breed and putting a lot of effort into it, then you don't have time for another. With the feelings of the dog lovers on this site, I just don't think this is appropriate. Just my opinion.

I disagree, She is simply an advertisement board. The question of how the puppies are bred must lie with the purchaser and not the advertisement company. You can't blame the middle man, the problem must be hit at source.

Iv'e just had a great after thought on this hence the edit. Why don't you contact shelters all over America and tell them they can advertise on your board for free. I'm sure this would catch on, you could then contact dog food suppliers and pet stores and ask them if they would like to sponsor the site, so you could make some money that way

Advertising

Masters Voice you are absolutley correct about the whole situation... The ad does not lie upon the advertising company, it goes about the breeder.. Also, I do read the ads before they are placed.. The pitbull ad was placed because even though I was written like it was, it was placed because it was obviously written by someone young, but to me and a couple of other editors the ad was understandable. And I have looked into the situation about the stud service form because I know the breeder well, and you have to fill out that form first, and after he receives the form, he sends another one that has I think 2-3 pages asking questions about the female and it says on the form that a copy of the OFA and pedigree are required, and it asks a lot more questions. He also sends a full sheet on the stud dogs information, a certificate of health from the vetrinarian, and a copy of his OFA and Pedigree to the person whom is willing to purchase semen from the stud dog.... I dont ask questions to the people who want to place ads, I wait until they send me what they want the ad to say, then I read it and if there is something inappropriate, I contact the advertiser and notify them of it. I also do not place ads for puppymills or backyard breeders because I do not like the fact of people breeding every breed of dog, or breeding them in their backyards with not caring about the breed or pedigrees, because half the time dogs end up on the street and/or are placed in shelters, but I will place ads for shelters knowing that there are ill animals needing a home. Now, I hope that everyone understands, if not, feel free to email me at animalads@hotmail.com or just click on the email link! Thank you very much for reading this post!
