Question

Hello all! I'm new to the board. I know theres a thread to introduce yourself but I also have a question I would like to ask about a website so I thought it best if I post here.
I am creating a "gourmet dog treat" website and would like to ask you what you would like to see in a site like this? What kind of treats, products, info, etc. I dont want this site to be the usual dog treat site. I want it to be unique. I eventually would like to have more than just treats on the site so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How about a combination treat/training site as those two do go hand in hand LOL You could post the ingredients to your treats so that people can find out what's in them in case their dogs have allergies. and a page with pictures of random dogs enjoying your treats. Just a few ideas

Hello and welcome

I personally would love to see a site that offered a variety of all natural treats at a decent price, one that included the list of ingrediants and also had an option to buy in bulk rather than by the treat or just a handful.

Thanks guys, Those are great ideas. All of our treats are as natural as we can make them. There are just some things I dont know how to make from scratch like any kind of oil, Vegetable, corn, etc. so its kinda impossible to keep presevatives out but there are no added preservatives and we list all ingredients on the package. I am selling them in a cople of local pet shop's/grooming shop's now and they are doing well.

One other thing that I would suggest is that the majority of dog owners that are concerned about the health of their dogs will not buy anything that contains corn.

Right now we sell by the dozen but once I get the site up we will be able to broaden that. What do you think is a resonable price for treats?
