What do you think about this product?

My dog Maggie the Boston terrier has a short nose so she cannot exercise outside at this time of year or go on long walks. She loves going for rides in the car and isn't afraid of anything. I have been thinking about getting one of these. What do you think? They look so cool and I think she would LOVE it.

I have seen it advertised on craigslist. It looks neat..but I am not very athletic and don't like exercise lol. It does look cool though!

Looks cool. But not sure if I would feel safe with it. It may be hard to balance with a 40 pound dog. If you were to fall your dog may really get hurt. That's just my opinion. I've been thinking about getting one of the strollers you pull behind your bike for kids, to put Emma in.

It just doesn't seem very safe to me. Looks like the dog could easily slide off when the bike is doing something besides going totally straight. I have a bike basket that mine sit in and it's perfect.
By the way, why can't Maggie exercise or go on walks outside? I had Bostons and they played with my sons hot & heavy and just jumped into the pool when they wanted.

My first thought was that it doesn't look safe, even with the use of a safety harness. I can just imagine a dog losing their balance and slipping off the seat, and hanging from the lead off the side of the bike. I guess I would have to see this product in person to make a better assessment, but that's just my thought.
