Unhappy Could you say a little prayer for my Samoyed please?

Hey all,

Just wanted to share my worries regarding my 14 year old Samoyed.

She has been off her food for a week or so but she would take little bits of chicken etc out of my hand but yesterday she wouldn't take anything so I decided it was time to call the vet.

They came out and took her temperature,it was 102 so obviously something is going on with her. I initially thaught it could be her mouth as she wasn't taking anything she would have to chew but the vet has almost eliminated that as she let the vet look into her mouth etc no problem.

Then she suggested we could take a blood test,I said fine,ok I don't care about the cost I just want to do the best for my dog, after the blood test she checked the whites of her eyes and they were yellowish, which could indicate liver problems.

We should get the results by Friday but could you please say a little prayer for my Sammy please,I love her to bits and don't want her to suffer at what looks the end of her life

Welschgirl, you and your sammy are in my prayers. I am experiencing the same with my 13 y/o husky. It is so hard to watch them as they decline. May god bless you both.

I'm so sorry! I will say a prayer for you and your baby. I have a 15 year old Chihuahua who is on a down hill decline I'm afraid, so I know how stressful it can become especially since there isn't anything we can do to stop the ageing process.

I am so sorry to hear about your Sammy...I have a Sammy too who is up in years, and just thinking about losing her makes me cry. I'll keep you both in my prayers. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of his hands....Sharon

Hugs to both of you...you'll be in our thoughts and prayers. I know you'll do what's right for your baby when the time comes, which is always a hard decision to make.

Enjoy your time with her, and just let her know she's loved.

I hope everything turns out ok and your sammy makes some sort of improvement very soon I'm sure she knows how very much loved she is and that you are trying your best to make her feel better
