I'm sorry but I have to ask the same.... Are you planning on breeding your bitch ? When you ask'd you left it pretty vage as to why you're looking for a male, just why I'm asking... BTW I would love to see some pictures, Weims are very beauitful.

You're not going to find anyone here who will agree to stud their dog to your bitch.
You'd need to title her first (conformation etc..), have her genetic health tested as well as her general health and make sure her temperament is right. Basically make sure she actually has something worth passing on, beyond just being a nice pet. There are so many pups being born to irresponsible breeders now days that there is no point bringing more pups into the world unless they are extremely healthy, with correct temperament for their breed and have great type.
We already have enough badly bred pures in the world.

EDIT: You could talk to another member here called 'Novel' if you like, she has Weimaraners which she competes in various dog sports including conformation shows. I'm sure she'll be happy to chat to you about Weims and breeding though.

oh boy.. Ok "weim girl", what you are doing is called "BACK YARD BREEDING" and it is very frowned upon, so get ur dog spayed, Get a puppy from a rescue, and get on with your life.

I agree Fireworks. I'm all for Weim lovers, and would welcome another Weim person to the board, but... I admit, the limited info we have doesn't sound all that positive, but, it could be just limited info, and maybe they're thinking of buying a male and want to know what it's like to have one...

Agree with you completely Tribal.
Although Weim girl hasn't reposted here, she, I'm assuming, has been back a few times. Maybe a post in the introduction section telling us a bit more about herself would be best, and then we can just leave this thread behind us.
A kind of start over on the right foot kind of thing.


WeimGirl - As Cass said, we are a nice bunch of folks here, all completely devoted to our dogs. We always welcome a new member, and would love to talk with you, with anyone, about dogs! I see you have a Weim, and you posted you also have a pit bull. What are their names? Where did you get your Weim? How old are they? We sure would like to see pictures of some more furkids!
