Long-haired Weimaraners?

In my weimaraners litter there was a longhair in it. They are really beautiful but you cant show them? why cant you? I dont see why not ? They are still really beautiful like the short hair ones.

Simple answer, long hair is not in the breed standard.

The whole purpose of showing is to determine which dog is most to the breed standard, so that the proper traits can be passed along.

There are shows that are "just for fun", not that I have ever been to one, for people who want to show but the dog should not be reproducing.

Hope this helps

We've spoken in detail about this not too long ago.

You even commented on the topic, I see no reason to start a new thread for it since the last one is so recent.
