Hi ya i was just wondering if you had any coz y pup has done something bad!!
Hes chewed up my mums ear phones for her c-d player!!!
And i was wondering if any of you had labbies?

I've got (I have

) a 9 year old Black Lab/Rottie mix. He looks just like a HUGE lab (With some small chocolate markings on the side of his legs). I'm going to ask my mom if I can borrow her Palm Piolet to take pictures of my pups to show you guys. (Then I just have to figure out how to post them! lol) I love Labs but the Bully breeds are the ones that have stole my heart!

I love Labs and as most of you know, I have a 13 yr. old Chocolate girl named Bonnie.

Milo, just remember to keep things that you value away from your puppy. LOL. To your pup, what he gets and chews up is not bad. It's fun! He doesn't think there's a thing wrong with chewing up headphones. You just gotta watch him and show him again and again what he CAN chew on until he's past that stage, which can take over a year. It's just one of those things. LOL.

When Bonnie was a pup, there were times, of course, where we failed to keep a close enough eye on her. She chewed every attachment to my husband's shop vacuum cleaner. She chewed the heels off of some very expensive shoes of mine. She chewed the door jam between two rooms in our brand new, beautiful home which was full of lovely woodwork. She finally grew out of it and has been the source of much joy for all these years....a really lovely dog.

LOL Since Blackie has been an outside dog all of his life (except when I sometimes bring him inside when mom isn't at home

) we had it easy with his chewing. He did demolish one of our trees though... lol. And then when we had the 10 puppies, they were outside too, (but we let them inside to play with them sometimes,) and they had a tree for a chew toy too!! lol (Suprisingly the tree is now 7-8 feet tall. It survived the chewing!! lol)

Thanks for ya relpys lucky is being really bad laterly he gets me up now at 4:00 am and its really bugging!!

But ive tried to make him be quite coz i have naughbours and i think they might moun!!
Anyway i have to really start training him properly now coz hes getting out of hand!!lol

Yeah, i love labs too! I've had a lab mix before, that's the closest to a lab i've had.

I can't remember my life before we got our yellow lab and it's only been 3 months. Samwise does chew a lot. My husband and I are lucky enough to not have any kids yet so we are with him all the time and can usually stop him before he gets into trouble. However, he is a lab which means that he is occasionally smarter than us and can still manage to get himself in trouble.
