Comfy for cockers

DH and I want to include Lucy in our Christmas card photo this year and since she's black, I want to get a holiday sweater for her to wear in the picture so you won't see this black, hairy ball. She's got long hair and I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find a website that sells dog sweaters comfy enough for her. I'll probably let her wear it to a few Christmas parties, too; I'll bet she'll be adorable in it! Anyone know of any good sites?

I don't know where you are from but I did see some very nice sweaters at Wal-Mart and Zellers. That is where I got Shadow's winter coat and it was very reasonable. Just a thought.

Petco and Petsmart also have really cute sweaters.
Also go to google and type in Christmas sweaters for dogs. PetEdge.com has some really cute ones too, and so much more affordable than any I've seen in stores.

I was actually in claires the other day. (a store usually located in malls) and they had some ADORABLE doggie sweaters. I would have gotten one for maggie if I had money with me.

I went to pet supplies and got her a red sweater and it is SOOO cute! BUT I think it's got wool in it and she keeps shocking herself everywhere she goes! But with the 19 degrees we had this morning, she clued in to why she had to wear it right now! LoL I feel bad making her wear it, though! Looks like all that long hair makes it uncomfortable and itchy! She seems ok though!

and your cockers will wear the sweaters? Schumi hates being brushed and so I keep him clipped. Of course, this makes his outside time not as pleasant as it should be (out, potty, in)

How do you teach them to tolerate a sweater?

Umm...she didn't take to the sweater that long...actually, she wore it for I think two days and then I got up one moring and she had taken it off. I got her a jersey to wear. It's got a little more room for her hair.

SHe doesn't mind so much being brushed. She lays on one side while I groom it and then flips over for the other side when I'm ready. She's pretty prissy with that. It's the hair dryer she doesn't like!
