I've heard that Kong toys are great
Mine won't chew the rubber bones & such. I buy their toys from the clearance rack at Petco. The prices are much better this way. |

Yup, Kongs and Jawz products are very tough, and those little Cuz's aren't bad either. My two can get the legs off of those, but the ball stays intact...LOL. So I have to watch them until the legs go, and not long after that, they no longer squeak either.
I happen to personally like the Jawz products best. Kongs do get teeth marks, and occasionally here (especially the balls) do get wrecked, but the Jaws ones, I can leave out, they don't wreck them. Kong balls will last, but not if I leave them out, they can only have them when we're actually playing. |

I love the air kong squeakers I have a football and 2 tennis balls they have lasted for months and hold up really good. I only let them play with them supervised though.

Orbee toys (the balls anyway - not sure about the couple others) are excellent for dogs who are tough on their toys.

at 11 months, bobbie can pop a tennis ball during a play session. The squeeker ball is holding up better, but she broke the squeeker part within days.
She has destroyed every soft toy we've gotten for her except one squeeky ball (round, fluffy like a lambs wool blanket) that she carries around and squeeks. Of course, she's destroyed almost all of her "tough" toys too. She won't chew on a kong, but she does chew bones. So I get her the tough chewy toys, knowing she'll eventually destroy them, but it'll take a few months. |

My youngest pup absolutely loves anything that squeaks... it is hilarious to see him wiggle his butt a mile a minute if he hears a squeaker toy... He'll walk around with it in his mouth squeaking away LOL
He hasn't been too tough on his toys yet, but his sister devours almost anything. She's even managed to put some decent toothmakrs in her kong... |

My son's dog, Seamus has some major strong jaws and we could never find anything at all he couldn't destroy, till he found one of my little guys dinosaur's and I just let him have it. Found out he LOVED that thing and chewed on it all the time. I let him take it home and my son said he was so amazed that Seamus wasn't able to tear it up. So now, *grandma* makes sure he gets a new one each Christmas. He takes that thing everywhere he goes like a kid would with a favorite toy. I get them at Petedge since they are only $3.99. They have two kinds........durable and flexible. I buy the durable.
Here are a couple pictures taken just last month of him getting a new dino. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
