Yeah, she is, she loves the animals almost as much as i do (i think i love them a tiny bit more because i work with them, i even have to work with the bird sometimes because if you dont handle him very much, he starts to bite when you put your hand in the cage), i told her about early-pregnancy spaying, at first she didnt like it because she thought it sounded like abortion, but she said that her paycheck and tax leftover money were coming soon, and she could donate some.

Yeah, i will probably post to tell everyone what the vet said when my mom calls him today or tomarrow (might not be today because my little twin cousins' birthday party is today, they are turning 3). Then, after that, i will post again after she is spayed to tell everyone how it went, and so on. Pretty much for short, yes, i will be giving updates!

That's awesome Mirg.

Do you happen to know of any humane societies or shelters in you area that do low cost spay/neuter? I know they can sometimes charge more if the dog is pregnant, but it's always something to think about if you are a bit strapped for money (or atleast for spay/neuter).

Keep us posted

Well I'm glad I mentioned that We have quite a few programs around here like that. Some places will even spay/neuter pitbulls for free. Well I hope you can find something! I'm sure there's something around there. If not, you can always call your local shelter and see if they know of any programs like that.

Yay! I'm so glad you've got a solution figured out! Your sister sounds great!

Otherwise, if you do want to part with her... ESRA will take her in and spay her, but that is completely your decision!

Side note... the humane society in Duluth has "SNAP" which is Spay/Neuter Assistance Program and used a lot. It's a fantastic program and the vets that participate are just great.
