Yeah, im not sure what they are called, either, but there are a lot of ant-sized pokey balls that come off the weeds and they are extremely hard to get out of the dog's fur since the pokeys are so small.

Thanx! Everything went great! I took a ball in the bath with him (took it out during the soap, though) and he was SO much better! Barely any whining. He was so good, he let me get some pictures!

Before and after. He is standing better in the "before" picture, but he is whiter and trimmed in the "after" picture.

Ready for the shampoo.

He was so happy to get to play with his ball. I dont know why i didnt think of it sooner.

He knew that once the shampooing was done, it was almost time to get out.

All the dirt and dead hair A.j. has been carrying around for a couple of months.

Drying off.

After the trimming and brushing:

I gave him the best ESS head-trim that i could, its hard with him because he doesnt have the show-type ears.

I laughed SO hard when i saw this picture.

Just got his clothes (collar) back on.

Relaxing with his ball after a long grooming session.

Like i said before, there isnt much of a difference before and after his grooming. At least visually. He is SO much softer after a bath.

I'm sure deep down he really appreciated his bath, even if the photos show otherwise! AJ's such a handsome dog. His ears look as soft as velvet.

Lol, yeah, accually i think deep inside, he really does like it. He likes any form of attention.

Thank you! A.j. says thank you, too. He is sitting next to me whining becuase its time to go to bed.

Oh, they, are! I love his ears. I heard somewhere that Springers are supposed to have soft ears, whoever said that was RIGHT! At least as long as you keep them brushed out. Its definantly one of his best traits.
