It would be good if we could opt to get an e-mail if a topic has been responded to.

you can
when you reply do not use quick reply, click post reply, reply to the thread then before you submit there are a few choices. one is subscribe, click the pll down list and its in there.

in user CP I think there is a place you can set it so it automaticly does it, like a settings thing...brb lemmie go make sure I know what im talking about.

yup in "user CP" click on Options then scroll down to find "Default Thread Subscription Mode" in there you can find the sme drop down menu, that automaticly sets it for ALL of your replys....if you want to go that rout.
