How about having monthly (Or more or less often, whatever) picture contests, like for the funniest dog, cutest pose, etc. etc. ?

we already have a monthly photo contest going on right now...see the picture are (http://pictures.globalpaw.com) for Halloween dog picture submission.

I would do weekly contests but no one would post pictures every week...monthly themed contests are better, in my opinion.
