Shoutbox?

Hey,
What do you guys think of a shoutbox, so some people don't have to go through the flash chat?

I admit, I have never heard of one....I'll take it to the staff and see what they think!

A shoutbox or tagboard as some call it is a place where people can leave messages, the messages stay on the screen for everyone to see and many boards use them in place of an actual chat room.

Currently I don't see a need for a shoutbox since we have chat enabled and really, our whole forum could be considered a tagboard. Any message / post stays for all to read. But we'll certainly keep it in mind for down the road.

When I first read "shoutbox" I thought it meant a place for people to rant and let of steam. Lol! Maybe we could have one of those, too.
