What if they never posted 1 single post and are never active,(like 4 months)
that way you kno that they aren't on, and if they are they just don't log in!

I come here everyday and read everything--I learn a lot and sometimes there's no reason to really make a reply. Ok hopefully my last comment - when I say Loyal I mean I try to post as often as I am able to help a forum survive. If everyone did as some of you are suggesting just read and move on with no comment at all forums die or stagnant because the same few people are the only ones putting in any effort. If you agree with a post a cheery "good post" or I agree with you" is all thats needed. But this is a forum not a book !
