it can go to the extreme or it could be basic, but it could be nice ot break up some of the big topics (behavior, health) into smaller ones -

behavior - training, aggression, housebreaking (these are basics)

health - emergency, nutrition, sick dog (basics again)

it would help peopel to orient themselves, make past relevant topics more accessible (you wont have to search through as much) and give people more direction as to where to post!

ok, so I've widdled my way down through my to-do list to this issue...now, I wonder if someone woulc elaborate a bit more on this idea...perhaps give me a specific example and why this would benefit us more than having the more general topics.

OK, I like Doberkim's ideas for the training & health forums..

I think it would be a big benefit because then, provided that people used the appropriate forums, you would be able to tell what they were inquiring about. Also, it would be easier to find threads and I think that in the long run it would make the site more accessible. Can you see having tons of members and just general forums, with loads of new posts a day? it'd get overwhelming on a single general forum. JMO.
