If so, what was your reason to breeding?

Please be sure to think about all of the unwanted puppies and dogs in the shelters already, and are being PTS because new ones come in and they run out of room...

opposite side of the spectrum...if it wasnt planned then why didnt you have her spayed yet? do you plan to? Spaying is really the best way to go...there are a few great threads on here in the health concerns about spaying and neutering.

I have a friend that HAD to spay on of her females because she had a severe ovarian infection that she's had for quite some time but no one knew about it. They finally took her to the vet because she was bleeding during her cycles way too long and too much. The vet said if they would have waited any longer, she could have had very serious complications or maybe even have died. He said if she had been spayed in the first place, this never would have happened.

Just something to think about.

Congrats on your puppies.
But..why wasnt she spayed?
Are they full-blooded?
As you hear,all kinds of puppies are being pts every day bc of people who just want "one litter of puppies" or want some puppies running around the house but are going to "give them away" when they get older. Then they normally get put into a shelter then bye bye puppy. Thats sad though. ~Erin~

Good luck with the puppies! I do hope you will have her spayed though when she is done with this litter. Spaying will keep her healthier and pervent unwanted litters. Anyways, I wish you luck and I'm happy for you!!
