Lymphosarcoma

Any suggestions on comforting my dog? She has lymphosarcoma II and i'm trying to see if there is any thing else i can do to comfort her. She is 10 years old. She has been to the vet, but her cancer is too advanced to try to save her. I want to give her the best in her last days with me..... Just the amoxicillin and pred is holding her up for now....

I'm so very sorry. I know what a tough thing this is to go through and how very hard it must be for you. I'm glad the amoxi and pred is enough for her right now. As for suggestions, the biggest....lots and lots of love.

A few other things you can do that might comfort her are massages, warm blankets to lay on ( I used to throw Ty's in the dryer for a few minutes ) or maybe a vibration type massager.

Please keep us filled in on her health. It helps to share with others. That's what we are here for.

HelloAll,
Sidney passed in the early morning hours on the 6th. Lymphosarcoma took her quick (5 weeks). Watch for any signs of swelling, get them to a vet as soon as possible. Love your animals, they are very special, each and every one of them....

I'm sorry Sid - take some comfort in knowing Sidney is pain free now.

I'm so sorry for your loss...it must have been very difficult on you and Sid but bless your heart for being there for him and giving him all the love he deserved. May he watch over you and guide you from the rainbow bridge.
