Your favorite qualities of Pit Bulls
Hey there, Pit lovers! I was wondering what your favorite breed qualities are in the Pit Bull Terrier?

I love their protectivness, loyalty, intelligence, beauty....my list could go on forever. What about you?

I could go on forever about what I love about the breed but some of the top things are....

Their fearlessness, loyalness and willingness to please.

Body wise, I love how well proportioned they are from body to head, how muscular and well defined they are and their deep chest so thick and well sprung.

A dog that not unlike my breed of choice has a will stronger than most and an unfailing desire to overcome.

Definitely the loyalty aspect of the pit. I have to also say that I love how their bummies shake while the rest of their body stays absolutley still. I think it's hysterical! I love it!!

I've had two foster cares in the past 6 months and one of the little girls in particular, every time she got excited for a toy or saw me coming home from work, her butt and little tale would just shake like crazy-----it was so comical----you just have to love the Pit---an absolutely loving and handsome animal----my favorite breed of dog.

Mine too!! Yeah, my boy can somehow make his bum shake, and not the rest of him LOL!! They are terrific dogs, and I really think we need to show the world what they really are. Not vicous, maul-you-as-soon-as-look-at-you dogs. Couch Potatoes!! LOL!

people in the UK have no idea what they are missing out on, I have never had so much fun with a companion animal than I have had with the foster cares that I have had----more so than any other breed----a truly amazing animal----sucks to be in the UK, glad I don't live there

He did pretty well with the snow cones actually! Put his nose up to them at first and kept going outside looking for more snow, when he finally decided it wasn't coming back then I guess he figured the snow cones would have to do.

I just met a brindle and white pittie at the shelter last week. Cropped ears, and the muscles on that boy... woo-E! I agree with Sonja, their appearance is so beautiful (the ones that are bred correctly). I'm pretty sure he was pure pit though, he came up to my knee at the most, he was probably a good 18" at the whithers.
