wil they get along
I got a German shepard mix with chow last week.Im supposed to get a Jack russell terrier mix next week. will they get along the german shepard mix is 2 months she play with cousin marvinwill31313 rat terrier every day. Im scared that they will fight or his rat terrier will
attack the jack russell she likes to bite but she friendly. |

Wow, that's a handful. 2 dogs in such a short time, with such different possible personalities.
If you could, I would try and focus on just one of them, and see if the other one could be placed somewhere else, but, perhaps your situation doesn't allow for that. Anyways, I would just hold off on socializing them with your cousin's dog until you get to know them both, which will be difficult because your time will be split between the two of them. Take it slow, and meet on neutral territory if you do decide to introduce them. If these dogs are from a rescue or shelter situation, it may take them time to adjust to you and your home. Give them the time that they need and don't rush them. Even if they are coming to you from the best situation possible, they will still need time to adapt to their new environment. |
