Border Terrier in MN?

Hello,

I am in the market for a Border Terrier in MN. Although I have done my research on the breed and found it to fit my lifestyle and capacity, I have not yet met a Border.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a Breeder or an owner of Border(s) in the Twin Cities area of MN who would be willing to let me spend a few minutes with a Broder to make sure my understanding of what I have read about the Breeed is acurate. Be safe than sorry.

Any thoughts on Borders would be appreciated.

Good general obedience Trainers in the state of MN would be helpful as well.

Thanks!

Check with the BTCA for information on reputable breeders and trainers in your area.

I have contacted the BTCA, but they do not move swiftly. I have put in an order for their information packet; the problem is that the packet will not be here for a few more weeks and I was hoping to get the ball rolling a bit sooner.

But you are right -- the BTCA probably is the best resource for information on Border Breeders.

There has to be some Border owners out there. Any stories, suggestions, or pictures? What is the one thing you would not do again while raising a Border? What is the one thing you would do that you did not do with your current or previous Border?

Thanks

I have a friend that owns a border Terrier. She is very sweet. I know he said she potty trained quickly, but was hard to train in obedience. She is a very playful and durable dog, he sais nothing hurts her. That is about all I know if you have any specific questions I could ask and get back to ya. Good luck
