Long Haired Chi or Fox Terrier @ Eukanaba

What a great dog! I don't know who is going to win, the handler wasn't great, but what a great dog! Has my vote.

I came in late so didin't see everybody - 2 art opening receptions tonght. The Papillon got it. He was adorable. The Yorkie had a decent coat, but no attitude. The silky had some attitude but mediorcre coat. (I wish they'd put those dogs in Terrier Group.) The smooth Chi had attitude but the judge still passed him by. I didn't see any Rat Terriers, but I tuned in late. Cozy was the star in Marfa tonight.

Rat Terriers are not an AKC registered breed. Like the Jack Russells most people involved with ratters want a looser breed standard than allowed by the AKC.

That explains it, then doesn't it?

I know they compete in AKC sanctioned obedience trials.
