Yorkies in Ohio
Anyone from ohio???

I cannot find any yorkies around here, I want one so bad, Have been looking for about 3 yrs now. Had a yorkie chi, but my daughter was too young and was rough with her, so I had to give her up The lady I gave her too just LOVED her though. Anyhow, Anyone know where to find a yorkie in ohio?!

Ma'am, with all due respect, children don't grow out of treating animals unkindly. It is up to the parent to enforce that their children are treating animals properly, and teach them which way is correct. You may of meant your daughter was just too rough on a little dog, in which case I see where you're coming from, to some degree.

Have you checked www.petfinder.com?

Nope no luck, I live in a very rural part of Ohio. The dogs people are big on around here are Coondogs,beagles and chihuahuas!!!! LOL!!

LOL!! BEcause remeber the Taco Bell commercials? THATS how they got popular around here, Redneckville, everything Jeff Foxworthy says is TRUE!! !LOL!!!

Beth, if you're really interested in a good Yorkie , you can PM me and I can put you in touch with a good breeder. I traveled 500 miles to get my dog. Good breeders aren't like McDonalds..one on every corner.

LOL...when I first showed up at my daughter's apartment on my way home from picking up my Chihuahua from the breeder when I bought her, my daughter looked absolutely horrified. You should have seen her normally pretty face. She said, "Oh my GAWD....a taco bell dog! That is the ugliest thing I ever saw. How could you?" LOL LOL. Well, now you ought to see how my daughter loves this dog. (My daughter lives in the next state over) She is always saying how much she misses Chuli and how is Chuli and what's Chuli doing right now. LOL. She is very endearing little dog.
